When we think of Canadian singer/songwriters, names such as Gordon Lightfoot, Ian and Sylvia Tyson, and Stan Rogers immediately spring to mind, but Ross Douglas deserves a place on that stellar list.
What a trio! And what a program! Devon herself said it was “genre-bending”, so a real treat for the crowd, as they played a mix of ballads, blues, folk, jazz, bluegrass/country.

There was joy in our School of Music this morning, not at all an unusual occurrence, but this joy had the distinctive sound of a Celtic harp – 14 of them, in fact.
Our Music School was full to the brim on Sunday for this season’s final concert.
The Kwerks delivered the fun! The outstanding band and singers gave us an afternoon of mainly original songs written by lead singer Laura Koch.
Partners in music and in life, Kai and Catherine present two concerts featuring the heroic Strauss Sonata in E-flat Major and Brahms Sonata No. 3, as well as a little-known gem by Dohnányi. These gifted musicians will be warmly welcomed on their much-anticipated return.
