The School of Music is now open to hall rentals and events. We welcome back our community groups, event rentals and concerts and thank everyone for their patience and understanding during our prolonged closure due to the pandemic.
School of Music current Communicable Disease Plan
Masks are highly recommended at all PHMS Concerts and Coffee House. Hand sanitizer is available and we have enhanced cleaning protocols in place.
We ask that users/renters develop their own Communicable Disease Plans tailored to their groups’ needs and safety.
Additional Safety Measures in Place at SOM:
Communicable Disease Prevention Guidelines are in place and PHMS is prepared to implement any recommendations or orders from the Provincial Health Office. The following safety measures remain in place:

Before visiting, participants are asked to do a self-check and stay home if experiencing any symptoms.
Hand Hygiene & Regular Cleaning
Hand disinfectant is provided. Please use it frequently. No-touch soap dispensers are installed in the washrooms and kitchen. We have increased the frequency of cleaning in the hall. In addition, high touch areas will be cleaned by the renters after each event.
Each User Group at SOM must also have their own Covid Safety Plan
A charming, light-filled building situated overlooking the ocean, our venue will accommodate up to 80 people.
Regular Rental Fees:
$60 for up to 3 hours*
$120 for 3–6 hours*
$180 for a full-day (24 hours)*
*Refundable damage deposit of $90 required
Frequent Renters:
$30 for up to 3 hours
$60 for 3–6 hours

Grand Piano Rental – $150 per use*
Green Room
Fully Equipped Kitchen – $100 per event
Projector – $30 per use
Lights or Sound Only – $100 per event, includes our mandatory technician
Both Lights & Sound – $150 per event, includes our mandatory technician
* Refundable damage deposit of $500 required

Important:
If alcohol will be consumed by your group at our venue you must obtain from LCB and show proof of a Liquor License.
Depending on the activities planned for your rental, you may be required to obtain and show proof of Event Insurance.
