  • BLAK, a Musical Journey - BLAK is a powerful musical journey celebrating notable black Canadian women in music. The show has historically important stories about the Underground Railroad, the Civil Rights movement and key events in black history while weaving in iconic songs from the eras in which these women lived and performed. Krystle brings a unique and powerful blend of passion and emotion to every performance. We are also delighted that Krystle and her ensemble will present their school programme to our elementary school on Monday, May 25.

  • Mi’kmaltic Magic: Tradition Meets Innovation - 2024 Juno-nominated Celtic fiddler and singer, Morgan Toney, brings together the fiery fiddling of Cape Breton Island with the old songs of the Mi’kmaq. He calls this fusion Mi’lmaltic (Mi’kmaq + Celtic). It’s his way of celebrating his language and heritage. Morgan and his touring partner, and fellow Cape Bretoner, Keith Mullins have collaborated to blend two worlds and cultures to give the world something unique. Together they represent the best of art – a way of understanding and acceptance. We are delighted to have Morgan and Keith present their school program to our Pender Harbour Elementary School students on Monday, March 30.
