Enter the Omega String Trio, three of Canada’s finest chamber musicians, Marc Destrubé (violin), Yariv Aloni (viola) and Pamela Highbaugh Aloni (cello). Join us for an intimate glimpse into a golden age in European cultural life with rarely-heard works by four generations of Viennese composers. Works include trios by Beethoven and Schubert, and Mozart’s Divertimento in Eb Major, considered one of his greatest chamber works.Sponsored in part by: Liz and Alex / Jane McOuat Farrer / Margaret & Alan Skelley

As we approach the 40th Anniversary of the PHMS Concert Series this summer, we are thrilled to welcome back Matthew Byrne to our stage. Matthew’s songs are a way of understanding those who came before us – their lives, their work, language, and their world. Blessed with a truly wonderful voice, an innate talent to choose material and being an accomplished guitarist, Matthew brings the glorious tradition of the “Rock” to us on the other side of this great land.Sponsored in part by: Deb Young & Don Terrillon / Moon Dance Vacation

Carefree Highway Riders is a harmony-driven duo featuring well-known Canadian songwriters Marin Patenaude and Steve Brockley. While both artists have carved out respected solo careers with their original material, this collaboration is a heartfelt detour dedicated to the timeless songs of Gordon Lightfoot. Along the way, they will take some unexpected back roads into more contemporary territory with their own compositions.Sponsored in part by: Lyn & Bill Charlton / Harbour Gallery / Jean & Clay Curry
