There was joy in our School of Music this morning, not at all an unusual occurrence, but this joy had the distinctive sound of a Celtic harp – 14 of them, in fact.
Partners in music and in life, Kai and Catherine present two concerts featuring the heroic Strauss Sonata in E-flat Major and Brahms Sonata No. 3, as well as a little-known gem by Dohnányi. These gifted musicians will be warmly welcomed on their much-anticipated return.

The School of Music was the setting of a wonderful Nov. 23 workshop with Janelle Nadeau for a group of local harpists.
The grade 8-12 instrumental music students from Pender, Chatelech, and Elphinstone took part in a very successful Band Camp on November 17 in Sechelt.
After months of waiting and planning, our 14th Annual Chamber Music Festival was everything we’d hoped for and more.
The 2nd Annual Harp Camp at the School of Music in Madeira Park was attended by harpists from the Coast and beyond.
