We are delighted to continue to present professional live music to the Sunshine Coast community as we have done for over three decades. Tickets are $30 per concert (except for the Music & Laughter Family Concert Saturday, April 20, which are $15 for adults and $10 for children under 12 years of age). Tickets are available here on our website and at Harbour Insurance in Madeira Park and Strait Music in Sechelt. All concerts begin at 2pm and are held at the School of Music, 12956 Madeira Park Road, Madeira Park.

Mimosa

Mimosa draws on Jazz, Brazilian Sambas, French 60s Pop, and Cabaret music to concoct its own unique sound: gorgeous melodies, quirky lyrics, incredible groove and sky-high improvisations. Triology
Concert rescheduled to September 22, 2024
To close out our season we are delighted to present a fabulous jazz concert. Triology is a trio featuring three of Canada’s most sought after jazz musicians, Bill Coon on guitar, Miles Black on piano and Jodi Proznick on bass. This group was fashioned after the great early jazz trios of Nat King Cole and Oscar Peterson, and features wonderful arrangements of classic standards, as well as original tunes by the trio members. Jazz so cool you will think an arctic front has “swung” by.

We welcome the ‘Stellar Jays Plus’ (Joan, Jane, Julia and Hannah) who promise a relaxed afternoon ‘Couleurs d’un Rêve’ (Colours of a Dream) with a French flavour including compositions by Jean-Luc Defontaine and Claude Debussy.

Diane Lines Trio

Vocalist and pianist, Diane Lines, returns to Pender Harbour School of Music with her Jazz/Blues/Swing trio for a lively concert that will make you want to dance in the aisles! Diane has been inducted into the B/C Entertainment Hall of Fame. She is a favourite on the Coast and has played for the Pender Harbour Jazz and Blues Festivals.

Three-time Juno nominee Rick Scott joins forces with young keyboard ace Nico Rhodes for a lively, participatory concert combining music, storytelling and humour. Based on Rick’s eight award winning children’s recordings, the show is enlivened by Nico’s piano mastery and the inter-generational mischief of two musical playmates forty years apart in age.
