The Pender Harbour Choir held their Christmas concerts Dec. 5 in Davis Bay and Dec.7 in Madeira Park. The concerts were well-attended and featured striking seasonal music by Canadian composers and arrangers, including two from Pender Harbour.
Kenneth Johnson’s “Christmas Lullaby”, a song from his stage production, Castles In The Snow, was premiered by the choir and directed by him. Corlynn Hanney’s “Christmas Angel” was also a lovely addition to the program.
The 34-member choir is directed by Joy Macleod and accompanied by Paula Seward.
