Three decades of hard work and hundreds of concerts gave the Pender Harbour Music Society reason to celebrate in grand fashion on November 12. The party was scheduled to coincide with a much anticipated concert by cellist Paul Marleyn and pianist Mauro Bertoli whose superb artistry transported the audience from blustery Madeira Park to the sun dappled boulevards of Paris. The special day reunited many whose dedication over 30 years laid the foundation for today’s thriving Music Society and its impressive performance space in the School of Music.
