The community of Pender Harbour is renowned for its physical beauty. It surrounds a body of water which constitutes one of the most protected harbours on BC’s west coast. It has soaring mountains and small coves, seabirds on the wing, and abundant plant and animal life. It is an idyllic setting.
Our vision is to present musical events within the context of this beautiful setting which will take the listener to a new level of spiritual well being, whether that audience member be a resident of the community or a visitor.
To reach the Pender Harbour Music Society’s Performance Centre (or Music School as we locals call it!), take the highway exit which features the restored fish boat and enter the village of Madeira Park. Follow the road past the Community Hall and watch on the right for the complex containing the Performance Centre, the Art Gallery, the Reading Room and the Child Development Centre.
