He’s BACK! Fiery, passionate, thrilling. Flamenco guitar legend Juan Martin returns to the Coast, at the Raven’s Cry Theatre in Sechelt, to accommodate the 2 dancers, singer and 3 musicians in his troupe. An extravaganza! This is as real as flamenco gets, in the traditional Andalucian style. Last visit was standing room only, so get your tickets early!

The Good Lovelies
Sunday, March 4, 2012 2:00 PM
Funny and upbeat, with a pinch of sass, the Good Lovelies have enlivened the folk music landscape since 2006. Their ‘take’ on folk has been compared to a sonic sun-shower, which separates them from so many of the too-hip-to-be-happy groups currently writing and performing. Come bask in sonic joy!

Brilliantly gifted pianist Sara Buechner returns to Pender Harbour to dazzle and enchant us. ” Buechner’s performance… with its soft contours and liquid, legato phrasing… had a beauty that might have taken even Mozart’s breath away.” – Washington Post. Her art of classical piano is guaranteed to mesmerize you.

The hit of the Millennium Park Event at the 2010 Jazz Festival, this wickedly accomplished group of musicians from Seattle bring their gypsy jazz, influenced by Django Reinhardt, back to Pender Harbour for an encore. Seamless, brilliant performances make this group a ‘do not miss.’

Christie Reside & Terence Dawson
Sunday, May 6, 2012 2:00 PM
“Possessing trademark elegance and technical flair” – The Georgia Straight. The performances of Reside (flute) and Dawson (piano) highlight a remarkable onstage rapport. Their interpretations of flute and piano repertoire are delightfully colourful and technically assured. We are delighted they will be performing our season’s final concert in Pender Harbour.
